With neither team having anything else to play for, the Edmonton Oilers won their last home game of the season 5-4.

With Paul Stastny, Adam Foote, Scott Hannan, TJ Galiardi, Milan Hejduk and Craig Anderson all getting the night off, the Avs came out quick, getting three goals from Matt Duchene, Ryan O’Reilly and Marek Svatos scored early in the third period.
